Product Care and warranty:
925 Silver tends to tarnish and darken in the following situations:
-
Contact with air (high humidity), swimming pools (high chlorine levels), sulfuric acid, the sea, chemical cleaning products, creams, perfumes, cosmetics, and cooking.
These factors may start the oxidation process, causing the jewelry to darken. -
Contact with the body, especially in the summer when humidity is high. Our bodies produce sweat, moisture, and acidity, which vary in levels for each individual. Therefore, the same piece of jewelry may tarnish on one person but not on another.
The advantage of 925 silver is that it can easily be cleaned and restored to its original color.
Silver in contact with water: You can shower with silver jewelry. Water does not cause tarnishing, but rather helps clean and renew the silver.
Gold-plated jewelry: These pieces are plated with 18K gold with a thickness of 3-5 microns, using a very high-quality plating process. To maintain the jewelry, it’s better to avoid swimming pools, the sea, perfumes, creams, and chemical substances to preserve its quality for a long time. Gold-plated jewelry can be washed with regular water and soap.
Silver jewelry tends to tarnish, and gold-plated jewelry tends to accumulate dirt.
How to store 925 silver and 18K gold-plated jewelry:
It is advisable to store the jewelry separately from other jewelry and materials that are not silver or gold to prevent oxidation.
It is recommended to store the jewelry in a sealed bag, preferably a vacuum-sealed one that prevents contact with air. Storing it in a cardboard box can cause oxidation and color changes, but don’t worry — my cleaning cloth cleans everything.
-
The simplest method is to clean the jewelry using a special jewelry cleaning cloth. To reuse the cloth multiple times, store it in a sealed bag.
-
Special cleaning solution: Available at pharmacy stores. It is important to follow the instructions on the package carefully and avoid contact with skin and eyes. Soak the jewelry in the liquid for a short time (10 seconds) to prevent damage. Do not use it on gemstones or pearls.
-
Toothpaste: Silver jewelry without gemstones can be easily and quickly cleaned. Use a toothbrush to scrub the jewelry, then soak it in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes. Rinse and dry well with a towel.
-
Aluminum foil method: Line a glass bowl with aluminum foil, place the jewelry directly on the foil, sprinkle a teaspoon of baking soda over the jewelry, and cover it with boiling water. Soak for a few seconds (15 seconds), then dry and polish the jewelry with a soft cloth.
In case of breakage caused by the customer, the jewelry can be repaired at the cost of the repair. If the breakage is due to a manufacturing defect, the repair is free (the assessment will be made solely by the company). This also applies to missing or broken stones.
There is a three-year warranty on gold plating, and after three years, a minimal fee for replating will be charged.
Limitation of Liability for Product and Service Use:
The company and/or anyone on its behalf shall not be liable for any direct and/or indirect damage caused as a result of the use of the service and/or the use of a product purchased on the website.
